It seems that some members of the New Left are discovering that Linda Sarsour is a hate monger

Notice that Weis does not challenge Sarsour's ugly declaration of Jihad or Holy War against the Trump Admin but it is nonetheless it is a good start that a member of the New Left is discovering what Linda Sarsour is all about

However, we should not blame Weis for not challenging Sarsour's lie, as well as many in Academia that jihad's primary meaning is about some bogus inner struggle and not holy war
