JIhad in the Sinai and this time against Muslims!

The recent atrocity in al-'Arish Egypt against Muslims praying at a Sufi mosque is not surprising in the least and as the readers shall see it is more evidence that Deash and al-Qa'eda's members are the real Muslims So here is a link to this atrocity

So the question is can Muslims declare jihad against other Muslims? The answer is a clear yes

Qur'an 9:73 says

يأيها النبي جاهد الكفار والمنافقين واغلظ عليهم ومأواهم جهنم وبءس المصير

Or O you prophet FIGHT (Jahid and for confirmation of my translation see Sahih's International translation below) al-Kuffar (unbelievers) and al-Munafiqin (the hypocrites) and be tough/harsh on them and their final place is hell and wretched destination

And here is Sahih's translation

This clearly means the following:

1. The word jihad means holy war

2. That jihad can be declared against not just non Muslims but also against other Muslims and in this case Sufi Muslims

Now before reading Ibn Kathir's Tafsir of the verse the word al-Munafiqin is defined in Q9:74 but I will leave it to Ibn Kathir's explanation

So this is what Ibn kathir says:

بعث رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بأربعة أسياف ، سيف للمشركين : ( فإذا انسلخ الأشهر الحرم فاقتلوا المشركين ) [ التوبة : 5 ]

Or the prophet of Allah may Allah was sent with FOUR SWORDS one for the polytheists as per Q9:5 (Ayat al-Sayf or the Sword Verse)

Then he says:

وسيف للكفار أهل الكتاب : ( قاتلوا الذين لا يؤمنون بالله ولا باليوم الآخر ولا يحرمون ما حرم الله ورسوله ولا يدينون دين الحق من الذين أوتوا الكتاب حتى يعطوا الجزية عن يد وهم صاغرون ) [ التوبة : 29 ]

And a sword (read this is fight/war) against the people of the book (Jews and Christians) as per Q9:29

Then he says:

وسيف للمنافقين : ( جاهد الكفار والمنافقين ) [ التوبة : 73 ، التحريم : 9 ]

And a sword for al-Munafiqin or the hypocrites as per Q9:73

Notice that al-Munafiqin are really Muslims that do not follow the real Islam whatever that is!! So the Sunni would regard the Shia as Munafiqin and the Shia would regard the Sunni as Munafiqin and Daesh and al-Qa'eda would regard the Sufis as Munafiqin and deserving to to be murdered as we have seen in the Sinai

And this is how the author of the Qur'an defines who are al-Munafiqin and it is in the next verse Q9:74

يَحْلِفُونَ بِاللَّهِ مَا قَالُوا وَلَقَدْ قَالُوا كَلِمَةَ الْكُفْرِ وَكَفَرُوا بَعْدَ إِسْلَامِهِمْ

Or: They (the hypocrites) swear by Allah that they did not say but they did say the word of al-Kufr (disbelieve) and they became kuffar after becoming Muslims

So the point is al-Munafiqin are Muslims and jihad can be declared against them! And this indeed what happened in the Sinai

This clearly means that jihad means not just holy war but it also can be declared against other Muslims

So this atrocity in the Sinai is very Islamic and very Quranic and in this case al-Munafiqin are really Muslim Sufis

For the sake of completion Ibn Kathir tells us in his tafsir that jihad can be declared against tyrants

وسيف للبغاة : ( فقاتلوا التي تبغي حتى تفيء إلى أمر الله ) [ الحجرات : 9 ]

Or a sword for the tyrants as per al-Hujurat:9 which means that in the case of Egypt Daesh and al-Qa'ida can declare jihad against el-Sisi as he is viewed as a tyrant

Notice that 27 children (in another report 30) were murdered in this atrocity and this is also Quranic and it is about the story of the Muslim prophet called al-Khadr and that a child can be killed if it is known that he will grow up and stop being a Muslim and in this case a child will grow up and be a Sufi I will explain this bizarre story in more details in another post

Muslims need to know that just being Muslim does not provide you with immunity and protection against this evil doctrine of Jihad
