Please avoid conspiracy theoriesReader comment on item: Conspiracy Theories in a Time of Virus [COVID-19] Submitted by Joshua Fox (Israel), Mar 18, 2020 at 10:41 You yourself raise a conspiracy theory "The virus demonstrably originated in the Chinese city of Wuhan, ... perhaps at the Wuhan Institute of Virology." Answering this is as hard as answering any conspiracy theory. If I point out that there is no evidence that the Jews/Chinese launched this, the answer is "but there's no proof that they didn't. Also, there are strange anomalies that could be interpreted to show that they did." And I'll have to say that I am no fan of the Chinese Communist Party, but that claims against them should be held to standards of evidence. You cite as your one source NYPost article with a tone typical of conspiracy theorists: "Read that again. It sure sounds like..."

The British, American, and Israeli governments are not entirely innocent of them but do not engage in the malicious and global activities ascribed to them. Reader comments (38) on this item |
