Those lies signal future aggressionReader comment on item: Conspiracy Theories in a Time of Virus [COVID-19] Submitted by Dave (United States), Mar 18, 2020 at 22:16 President Reagan was the last western leader to boldly denounce the deceit of dictators with his eloquent "axis of evil" label, but those days seem long past. President Trump seems intent on flattering tyrants; I can't remember a single instance when he went after Putin, and he is too nice to North Korea's Kim. Meanwhile, we have the Greek chorus of the politically correct who are quick to start chanting racist for every slight negative reference to a non-western entity, whether human or microbial. Thus, the debate is being increasingly set by the liars and the haters to enhance their power. They can surely see that their incitement gets a pass, and so they notch things up to absurd levels. They are propelled by a tailwind of silence which they correctly see as successful intimidation. So many of our elites are afraid of being called racist if they push back. It's a testament to their cowardice, stupidity and conformity. What they don't appreciate is that the thugs won't stop with verbal firebombs, but will move on to real bombs, and they will not be impressed by good manners. It was the lesson of Munich.
