My reply to Mr. Jeff

Dear Mr. Jeff,
Thanks for replying to my post. I am sorry I am little bit of late to answer to your queries since I have to work amidst a nationwide lockdown.

1. When Mr. Trump calls it "Chinese virus" he is deliberately trying to blame the Chinese people. This may create a lot of racism and ethnocentric riots in the US. Remember the US is infamous for race riots and random racist shootings. So this kind of racical profiling by Trump could jeopardize the lives of Asian-Americans in that country. He should never have done this from his position.

2. When it comes to blaming China for the virus, my take is that the current American administration is so egoistic that even if the Chinese would have informed them about COVID-19 in December, 2019 they would have ignored it as something that can only hurt Chinese and nor Americans whom these Trump administration considers as ethnically and racially superior to the Chinese people. Just look at Mr. Trump now. He can see the US becoming the epicenter of the pandemic yet he has the temerity to call off the lockdown at Easter. You Americans are so arrogant that you did ignore both WHO and China about this pandemic and now you must suffer the consequences.

3. You really want to know who/what is responsible for the current COVID-19 pandemic apocalypse in the US ? It is the US allocation of huge resources to fight unnecessary wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Had the US not foght these unnecessary wars it would have had enough money to spend on its health infrastructure back home. I believe Jack Ma did point this out to the then US president Obama back in 2016 but as usual the American people because of their exceptionalism ignored him at the time. So if Trump wants to blame someone he should blame Pentagon for reducing US health budget over last two decades. Even now Trump can close down US bases in West Asia and Europe and bring them home to fight the Coronavirus. But as usual you Americans will ignore me.

4. US must show generousity to the rest of World and at least for this rest of 2020 it should lift all sanctions from Iran (and Venezuela). Iran is suffering much and when you refuse them money that suffering will increase. Now you can have pleasure thinking about their pain but remember the same virus can get you too before you enjoy the deaths of the Iranians.

5. At the end of the day You Americans need to understand that you are not an exceptional people but another one of those dying European empires. Deal with it. Give up your exceptionalism and arrogance and learn to live with the rest of the World.
