Our dear Md Shafiq and so much for the eloquent Qur'an and Q3:175 is a linguistic disaster!

Our dear Md Shafiq who cannot read speak or write Arabic so he has to depend on a translation but how can he be sure if this translation is correct or not? The answer is no as I shall prove

This is what he wrote:

>"Be ye not afraid of them, by fear Me, if ye have faith." (3-175).

And this is the verse in Arabic a language that our dear Md Shafiq cannot read speak or write:

انما ذلكم الشيطان يخوف اولياءه فلا تخافوهم وخافونِ إن كنتم مؤمنين

This can be rendered as:

But (see Footnote below) Satan Dhalakum (this word has to be edited as you shall see below) he scares his supporters/followers so do not be afraid of them and Khafuun (or be afraid in plural this word has to be edited as you shall see below) truly if you believe

Very poor syntax/grammar/spelling of Arabic words

This is how al-Qutubi edit the horrible syntax and poor spelling of Arabic words in this verse:

انما اذلكم الشيطان يخوفكم أولياءه (اي باولياءه او من اولياءه) فلا تخافوهم وخافوني ان كنتم مؤمنين

But Satan humiliated you his supporters/allies scare you (or by his supporters/allies or from his supporters/allies) so do not be afraid of them and be afraid of me (Allah) if you believe

Now the verse has clear meaning and a mere human being, al-Qurtubi, fixed Allah's poor Arabic

So how many mistakes do we have?

1. ذلكم should be اذلكم or Dhalakum (and it has no meaning) should be Adhalakum or he humiliated you

2. يخوف اولياءه should be (يخوفكم أولياءه (اي باولياءه او من اولياءه or He (Satan) scares his supporters/allies should be His (Satan) supporters/allies or with his supporters/allies or with his supporters/allies

3. وخافونِ should be وخافوني or and be afraid it should be and be afraid of me (Allah)

et voila al-Qurtubi fixed this linguistic disaster

Any comments our dear Md Shafiq who is wearing a Burqa/hijab? But I'm curious why should you be afraid of Allah after all he does not even exist?
