Our dear Md Shafiq: For your Allah's sake explain to us why the Arabs have no clue what the Qur'an is really saying and you claim to know!Reader comment on item: Shaken Out of Complacency by COVID-19? Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Apr 17, 2020 at 17:44 Our dear Md Shafiq here is an example at random that even Muslims whose mother tongue is Arabic and they are real Arabs like Ibn kathir have no clue what the Qur'an is saying and is Q69:5 so let us see what it says فاما ثمود فاهلكوا بالطاغية This can be rendered as: As for Thamud they were destroyed by al-taghiya (I left this word untranslated as it has no clear meaning as you shall see below) The disasters? Here we go: 1. No one has a clue who the people of "Thamud" are. Why is that our dear Md Shafiq? Allah has the time to tell us about ants speaking to Sulayman and the wives of Muhammad having a fight but he has no time to tell us about who are really the people of Thamud! Care to explain? 2. As for last word بالطاغية no one has a clue what it really means al-Tabari tells us فاختلف في معنى الطاغية or (al-mufasereen) disagreed about the meaning of the word al-taghiya. Why is that our dear Md Shafiq that by the 3rd century the time of al-Tabari Muslims had no clue what this word means and tablighees like you think that you know what it means? Care to explain? 3. But the comedy does not end here Ibn Kathir provides not one but 4 very different meaning for the word al-taghiya and they are: a. الصيحة or scream/yell. b. الذنوب or the sins c. الطغيان or the tyranny d. عاقر الناقة or barren she-camel! Seriously? Mashallah a barren she camel They have no clue what a disaster So much for the bogus claim that the Qur'an is a Kitab Mubeen or clear book The moral of the story is why do you believe the veracity of any translation of the Qur'an including Arabic to Urdu? The Arabs did not know what the Qur'an is saying and some Mullah in India or Pakistan translates the Qur'an and foolish people like you believe it. Dear readers: Never believe any translation of the Qur'an more so written by Indian and Pakistani Muslims
