What about Christian and Jewish knock-on traits?Reader comment on item: Islam's Surprising Impact on Daily Life Submitted by Dave (United States), Dec 1, 2021 at 19:02 These observations on the effects of Islam are preceptive and fascinating, but I'd love to hear similar analyses on how Christianity and Judaism have affected their adherents. I'd be particularly interested in what would go into creating some of the masochistic Jewish leftists who make such grotesque pests of themselves, or why abortion is so important for some Christians, despite the lack of any direct biblical commentary on it. Why is drinking alcohol excessively among Jews relatively rare, and why is sexual morality emphasized among Christians; what is the real impetus behind priestly celibacy? I'm sure that exploring such idiosyncrasies and their origin in religious belief would be delightful fun and would certainly outrage many sensitive souls.

Therefore, I expect "Jewishate" features to be far more extensive than "Christianate" ones. Reader comments (28) on this item |
