Taimur,
if you are pointing one finger towards other then don't forget rest of the 4 fingers are pointing towards you. You are talking about some old custom "Sati" in Hinduism, which is a past, but there are many evil cults of Islam like Fatwa/Sharia, they were there in past,
are still present, will be there in future. Don't you learn anything from this. Reform !!

And what about this cult now "345 dead in Hajj stampede: A road to death". You go there for
pray or to kill/being killed.

At least 345 Muslim pilgrims have died in a crush during the stone-throwing ritual at the Hajj pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, officials say. i know they were pointing towards Satan/Devil,
but inthe crowds it becomes difficult to distinguish between good ones and satans

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/4606002.stm
1987: 400 die as Saudi authorities confront pro-Iranian demonstration
1990: 1,426 pilgrims killed in tunnel leading to holy sites
1994: 270 killed in stampede
1997: 343 pilgrims die and 1,500 injured in fire
1998: At least 118 trampled to death
2001: 35 die in stampede
2003: 14 are crushed to death
2004: 251 trampled to death in stampede
2005: 345 +

So now grow up. Even if you talk about diff. religion's bad things, they are just peanuts as compared to Islamic evil cults and hence you can safely ignore others and try thinking about your own problems. Reform is one way other than every one abandoning it.
