For Fahad: bogus claims and "fight in the cause of Allah" part deuxReader comment on item: The Pentagon Looks at the Koran Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Oct 14, 2006 at 16:15 My dear Fahad rabina yu3alimuka akthar wa akthar you wrote: "What is wrong in figfhting in the cause of Allah? Nothing wrong in fighting in the casue of your Allah but you must find it odd that: 1. The God of the universe asks human beings to do his dirty and messy work, as in "kill the polytheists" and "fight those who were given the book" after all your Allah can change hearts and minds without killing and fighting unless your Allah is not able to do such thing as in changing the minds of human beings. My conclusion here is that your Allah orders you to "fight in the cause of Allah" because he is not omnipotent. 2. And to add insult to injury your Allah al-makkar has his little doctrine of al-qada' wa al-qadr (yes ...yes ...yes.. I can see you coming up with your little gem: "quote the Qur'an" and I will be glad to do so ) so it means that your Allah knows that those pagans that do not convert to Islam will be killed and he is the one who planned such atrocity (I call this barbarity) and that those innocent ahl al-kitab (Q9:29) that did not believe in Muhammad or his message will be subjected to warfare and then will pay a mafia tax called jizya and be humiliated. So much for the logic of the God of Islam. 3. The strange thing about Jihad is that Abul Qasim aka Muhammad or is it Allah declares in surat al-anfal 8:1 that al-anfal ( the ghanima or booty) collected from the innocent victims of Islamic jihad belongs to Allah and his prophet! Am I making you happy by quoting the Qur'an? So you tell me how can you get the share of your Allah (or Abul Qasim for this matter) in the booty to Him? Do you have his e-mail address? 4. And why would the God of the universe participate in a human activity called: polemics? as in accusing the Jews and Christians of tahreef all over the Quran and of polytheism in Q9:30 and in Q112 (and yes you are reading this correctely) ? Unless the author of the Qur'an is just another mortal and his name is Abul Qasim. I just cannot see the God of the Universe being involved in polemics. It does not make sense. Now as for your comment about providing you with a verse in the Qur'an to prove to you that Islam allows suicide in the process of attacking the enemy of your Allah. Your claim here is just as bogus: 1. The Qur'an is silent about many things: take the case of male genital mutilation (khitan or tehara) the Qur'an is silent about it but you as a Muslim you are still subjected to such barbarity Qur'an or no Qur'an. 2. I challenge you to reconstruct the life of Muhammad from the Qur'an. Let me help you.: You cannot, and you have to go to the sira and the hadith. The Qur'an is very much silent ,among other things, about the life of Muhammad! (his name is mentioned only 5 times and one time he is called Ahmad!) 3. You must learn what the Qur'an is not: A. The Qur'an is not a qamoos or dictionary and if you want to consult a real Arabic dictionary you must not consult the Qur'an. You can only consult Ibn Manzur's Lisan al-3Arab. This is the Arabic dictionary par excellence. B. The Qur'an is not Kitab Nahw or grammar book. If you have a question in grammar you must consult Sibawayhe's "Kitab" and not the Qur'an. And yes the Qur'an has many grammatical mistakes! Are you happy now? The Qur'an is nothing but poor literature. It is full of mistakes in Arabic grammar and spelling of Arabic words. It has many non-Arabic words (and here are just a few examples: Syriac:: Tur, Latin: Sirat, Ethiopic: Hawariyoon, Hebrew: Zakat) and strange words (eg: Ilaf and kalala) So much for the claims that the Qur'an is revealed in 3Arabi faseeh and it is a kitab mubeen. There are many literary works in Arabic that are far more superior than the Qur'an. The Bible, the Tripitaka, the Gita, the Shahnamah, the Iliad and the Odyssey as literary works are miles ahead of the Qur'an. Well, yes Islam as the Pope indicated is evil, violent and the doctrine of Jihad cannot be the will of a God.
