How long can we fight the "Forever War"?

The M'slim militants' strategy seems to be, fall back and go underground until the Americans tire, lose strength of will, change administrations, or run out of money. With a federal debt of $6,867 billion bankrolling the U.S. military, the latter appears to be inevitable. The Islamist militants are also hanging on for some relief with a change in U.S. administrations, hopefully no sooner than 2008.

In any case, in return for oil, we are draining our coffers into the pockets of those who hate us and who finance terrorists via M'slim "charities". As noted long ago by Dr. Walvoord of Dallas Seminary, we need to understand where we are sending our money.

Even if the U.S. can beat the Islamist terrorists at the ballot box in 2004 and 2008,
even if the President of 292 million Americans can calm 1,600 million M'slims worldwide,
I'm not sure we can beat them at the bank.
