irreperable mess we will have to undo!Reader comment on item: Reflections on Obama's Inauguration Submitted by Vigilant (United States), Jan 21, 2009 at 19:06 I pray that I am wrong. But thus far I have seen only a very articulate man who can give magnificent motivational speeches until there's ner a dry eye around! But I hope that SUBSTANCE will soon kick on and we willl know the real Obama. He is one who likes attention, almost craves it! I was glad he didn't launch he rhetorical skills at his opeining speech. I was more subdued than most! I don't like his COLLECTIVE LEANING ON SOCIALISM. For this country didn't bargain with a mandate for Socialist change! We saw many in the mass crowds which were almost catonic and hypnotic in style and humble grace, their only fault was thinking that their Messiah had come and didn't realize his name was BIG BIG GOVERNMENT! Spend, spend, tax, tax and the people revolted! So I pray that I am wrong and tthat thus far he is keeping one promise and that was to do away with the old and bring in the new! Let us hold his feet to the fire, for he is now responsible for leading and keeping all the promises he made and use our tax money to match his unfathomable promises....in a short time???? one thing for sure, this is the FIRST ELECTION that billions of dollars went into even from private donations to make all this happen even affter a failed Dmocratic congress and US Banking commitee led by the honorable Barney Frank wanted to do a good deed and give or lend to the poor all this money to buy houses or whatever, but ....hey they couldn't afford it Mr. Frank!! So you and your cronies just fiddled while Rome burned! Corruption began as a pastime for the Democratic party and they decided to run with Obma knowing the Clintons would be running the show and so...here we go again. Ooh, how clever they think they are to have pulled off the biggest heist in the history of this country and smile down on us peasants who have been the backbone of this country's greatness. The hardworking people who have paid their dues just to see Camelot back in power with a big bag of GOODIES!
