Dubious personal qualities?

What does Pipes mean when he says that Obama is a "person of dubious personal qualities". What is he talking about?

Well, just to start with, the theme I have pursued - his having lied about his childhood religion. Then there are all the questions swirling about his career, too many for me to document here.
