Still claiming man as "progressed" morally, huh? ...Reader comment on item: Palestinians Who Helped Create Israel Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Apr 4, 2009 at 10:37 Hi, kman ! I claim that 'Homo islamicus' isn't 'Homo sapiens' > We haven't improved a thing. The financial crisis, the world's almost total desertion of Israel, and the spread of porography (including child porn) speak far more loudly of man's "progress" on the moral front. > (...)Yeah, I would say man has really progressed on a lot of fronts, but morally - nah! I have always tried to be modest. Man is too numerous a species to hope he will evolve uniformally. Instead I prefer to restrict considerable progress to only some parts of the species in some favorable environment. On the whole I agree that man (=most people ) is still as barbarian as at the time when the Greeks invented civilization, science and freedom. Artistotle never believed Alexander's violent experiment in making the barbarian Persians equal to the Hellenes would bring anything good. It would result in degradation and barbarisation of Hellenism and the barbarians would remain what they had always been ... but now with better weapons and military organization taught to them by the Hellenes. He turned out to be right. I am satisfied that at least I, you and a few other good people don't contribute to the world's barbarisation. It's a forlorn hope to reckon with mankind's mass moral progress. Masses live in the world of instincts and emotions too much to be guided by the imperatives of reason, enlightenment , humanism. "Games and bread" appeals to them more than "Know thyself" of the oracle in Delphi. I would even suggest that the rise of religiosity parallel to the inscreaing chaos in the world isn't a coincidence. Religiosity addresses the irrational human nature better than philosophy. Small wonder, it's simpler, doesn't demand so much from man. Anyway, what I imply by the title (Homo sapiens vs. Homo Islamicus) is that in view of the numerical progress and expansion of the evil stupid death cult called Islam we have to think like Aristotle , rather of getting rid of the barbarians than of making them equal to us which they will never be or would like to be given their contempt for our civilization and the freedoms we still have inspite of so many continuous efforts of the politicians to deprive us of it . > The press reports opinion & fashion while withholding truth. European politicians are arrested for stating the negative facts of Islam, and the latter slowly becomes fashionable. Greed & ignorance is rampant.< Agreed. I'd add that honest politicians are arrested while the crooked thugs thrive and rely more and more on Moslems and their numbers and wicked ways. Eurabia is disgusting! > Europe's once ally (Turkey) and energy hub, increasingly panders to Russia and Iran.< I wonder how you came to this odd conlusion that Turkey has ever been Europe' s ally ? Today's Turkey started with Gazi(=jihadist) Mustafa Kemal's jihad, genocides of the Armenians (he finished in Cilicia and Smyrna what the Young Turks had started in teh rest of the Ottoman Empire) , the Greeks, the Assyrians between 1915-1923. It was Vladmir Ilych Lenin that saved Kemal from sure ruin in 1920-1921 with gold, arms and military advisors. Kemal's reforms were meant to reinforce and revitalize the old superiority feelings of the Turks towards all non-Turks. Unwittingly, they made Turkey a Moslem monoculture, were responsible for antisemtism, organized the Greek pogroms in Constantinople in 1955. Today's Turkey is a direct result of Kemalism, not its contradiction ! The 'secularist' Turks invaded and occupied Northern Cyprus in 1974 (fully supported by the USA) which they made totally Islamized destroying churches or changing them into mosques or stables or worse. If you want to see what happens to a Christian country when a Moslem subjugates it, go and see Northern Cyprus - see the desecrated cemeteries, the demolished monsteries, the broken crosses, the new splendid mosques and minarets in every Turkish village where the primitive Moslems from Cappadocia or Lydia are residing now , allegedly as 'Turkish Cypriots'. It all happened while Turkey was an allegedly good "secular ally" of America and Europe ... > Good to see you still around. I have been gone for quite awhile on a private war. Probably still won't be back much, but we'll see.< "A private war"? ...Are you engaged in some sort of anti-jihad , if I may ask ?
