Dear Dr. Pipes,

I have just spent the last hour listening to Muhamar Quadaffi ranting in front of the UN and I am given to wonder what will become of a world that listens to this insanity. I think it's about time for us to stand up for who we are and no longer give these kinds of men a place to address us or to threaten us. They are the ones who are wrong in all of this and it is we who must bear the responsibility for convincing them that their cause is a lost one until they give up their belligerant attitudes. There can be no more compromises with terrorists, no more gifts of good will that are regarded as a sign of weakness. We must remove the gloved hand and show them the mailed fist for that is the only thing they will respect. We must be consistant in our actions and our speech and there must be a unilateral agreement that there can be no more quarter given no matter the costs to us on the world stage. We cannot afford to lose. To lose is suicide.
