Peripheral Pseudo-Intellectualism= Platitudes & super Denial

mr. Pipes,

Is it at all possible or even beneficial to attempt dialogue with the Jewish mindset that expresses an anti-Israel -(in my opinion; Self- loathing) view of the Jewish situation, in our Jewish lives. Whenever I come upon such an individual, I ask "don't you believe in self survival?" Yes?; Then doesn't it almost come automatically to inquire and research jewish history, including the state of Israel, the Jewish Biblical history of our people, and then to come to the conclusion that we must have the self- determination to survive as a people. thus the survival of Israel? Whether we like it or not; once the modern state of Israel was established ,our identity as a people became tied to her as well. What is this phenomanon? of some Jews to take up the cause of others even to destruction of themselves. Is this what their view of compassion and justice has brought them to?? And then there is the fool who thinks in the pie in the sky theory that if everyone can't win, then no one wins. This person believes that war is a curse, no matter who implements itr, no matter the cause or reason, they do not support anyone involved, or the outcome.
