backward logicReader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process? Submitted by Jules Posten (United States), Nov 5, 2009 at 18:10 i've been reading that Hillary Clinton actually praised the an Israeli position of West Bank Settlements and called it a "great step" towards renewed negoations looking towards a path to peace. as soon as she said something positive about Israel, there seemed to be huge hue and cry from all over the middle east. it seems that to Mr Abbas, before he agrees to negotiate, he expects Israel to concede every point of contention, thereby making negotiations moot.. all that will be needed then is for Israel to sign a document that they surrender and will move out of the area at once and settle all its people at the bottom of the sea. it's interesting but to Abass's view, the real impediment to peace is Israel's idea of discussing the problems that face both peoples. his idea is why discuss and negotate, just give in to our demands prior to to any discussions. this will certain speed up any solutions to the major sticking points. oh yes, Hilliary Clinton almost once backtracked and now states that the Obama Administration's position has always been that Israel is completely wrong on almost every point, including their avowed right to maintain a Jewish State, which accoring to former President Carter and most likely current President Obama is racist and unacceptable. this so called peace process seems more and more like the mad tea party in Alice in Wonderland.
