Demographics are still destiny and they are 100% against IsraelReader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process? Submitted by Charles Martel (United States), Sep 23, 2009 at 17:10 I know I've said this before, but no matter how powerful Israel is militarily, the Palestinian minority will become a majority in coming decades. Unless Israelis really have an equally high birthrate, or pull in every Jew on earth, or start importing pro-Israel Christian settlers (all extremely unlikely) the numbers will turn against a Jewish Israel before 2100. Once Jews are a minority, the Palestinians can vote Israel out of existence. I'd like to think the Palestinians are becoming more civilized over time, but I don't see any evidence of it. On the contrary, I fear that the resurgence of Islam has made them more intractable than their secular coethnics. I don't know what to do about that, but simply having a strong Israel doesn't change it.
