Well Said, Mr. MacNemiReader comment on item: Peace Process or War Process? Submitted by Rebecca Moulds (United States), Sep 24, 2009 at 17:53 I agree; I too watched Ghadaffi rant and rave, fumbling along with his speech and wondered why I was wasting my precious time viewing this raving lunatic. The reason I came up with was that I simply had to listen to him, otherwise how could I fairly criticize his speech? That we allowed this man onto our shores is bad enough, but giving him so much time when he was supposed to only speak for fifteen minutes was an even worse mistake. I was hoping to see one of those long, hooked canes drag him off the stage, the kind we see in cartoons, but no such miracle occurred. Remembering the Lockerbie incident and other acts of terrorism, brings to light the fact that somewhere we've missed the boat when such evil minds have become the accepted voice, and standing up for what is right and just is an embarrassment. Showing a tough stance seems to have gone the way of all flesh, and "no matter what cost" is drowned in the cries of political correctness. When we finally throw off the shackles of fear, then and only then will good triumph over evil.
