Lest we forgetReader comment on item: That Nobel Peace Prize: Bashes Bush, Handcuffs Obama Submitted by there is NO Santa Claus (United States), Oct 9, 2009 at 20:04 2 years after Menachem Begin won the NPP, those same Europeans were all over him for "invading" Lebanon. The NPP doesn't have to constrain our President. Frankly, I find the NPP award to our President humliating. I find it humiliating to HIM. I find it humliating to the U.S. It's as if the Paternalistic extreme left in Europe are giving America a pat on the head for "finally" electing a black President and one that is sufficiently liberal and acommodating to Islamists to suit their tastes. They're saying in effect: "He's one of us; a member of the elite club. He carries the leftist European socialist "kosher seal of approval". Like Menachem Begin before him, there's no reason for President O'Bama to live down to these ideals.
