But What Have you Learned From Reading the HOLY BIBLEReader comment on item: Istinja' with the Torah and New Testament Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Dec 5, 2010 at 20:41 It is very interesting that you have written in this frame of time; just when I began thinking that you had not expended your full array of philosophical resources, but were merely reluctant to share them since they have already been expended by others and have yet to competently detract the WORD of the LORD. Since I have yet to read the expositions of Calvin, or any of the myriad other theosophical expositions of the reformation period, I will admit to an ignorance of his persuasions, except to say that it has been explained to me by others more acquainted with such things that when one gets too far from a true understanding of the WORD of the LORD, one should be wary. That is why I would NOT characterize my self as Calvinist. But you have successfully conveyed your interests in NOT understanding my perspective; that unless and until the Holy Bible is fully read with the Holy Spirit as a guide, that an unguided sense of attempted interpretation by you should be avoided. This is what happened with Nietzsche and I would not consider him an acceptable source either. Try again; but this time ask Jesus Christ to help Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
