Are there any Islamic bigots?

Dear Dr Pipes:

As we ask the question if some one is an Islamist or the question whether there are any moderate muslims, we should also ask a parallel question -- are there any muslim bigots? Typically, if a person belonging to any religion other than Islam advertises, propagates, or defends his religion at all costs, the society will vert quickly start calling him a bigot. We run into many Hindu and Christian bigots. However, society judges Muslims with a different yardstick. People even remotely related to Islam blatantly join the Islamic bandwagon and advertising machine and no one questions them. What is Islamic Free Market Institute? Why should a middle eastern, American educated woman join it? Why should her American husband defend Islamic institutions? Why is there no Hindu Free Market Institute? Or Christian FMI? Why does every muslim become a spokesman of Islam? Why don't the societies declare as bigots the muslims who carry their religion on there sleeves? Are there any Muslim bigots? These questions must be asked?
