Strong speeches need strong actions

Thank you Dr. Pipes for your article of hope for Europe. We have observed that islamists in Egypt and elsewhere have begun their ethnic cleansing by demolishing churches and persecuting Christians. Hundreds of thousands of Christians have fled Egypt as a result. The world cannot continue to watch this as a hapless bystander. The cancer will not go away unless we deal with it at as-early-a-stage-as-possible. The civilized world cannot afford to wait. We waited before 9-11 and the result was 9-11.

Europe and USA need to stop the spread of pockets of islamic jurisprudence on our soil. We also need to put an end to such anti-social activities that are already underway. Strong speeches mean nothing unless they are backed by strong actions.

In the forthcoming elections, we need governments in Europe and USA who are aware that appeasing islamists will gain you popularity in the moslem world, but it will not stop them spreading their values which are diametrically opposite the values that enabled our civilization to form sustainable and peaceful democracies. The time has come for people in Europe and USA to wake up and elect those who know how to protect our way of life.
