Greetings from one of those "worse than the ArabsReader comment on item: My Optimism About Europe Submitted by Jeff (United States), Apr 5, 2011 at 13:06 we are poor and most of us are not formally educated because of the lack of proper education systems and political stability which's all caused by the slave trades, colonies, cold wars and now the hot oil and mineral wars led by the US. Abdirisak, could you name those African countries where there are "hot oil and mineral wars" led by the US? …your leader who is supposed to be the leader of the free world and of course the second in judge to the pope to represent the faith of Christianity had slept with his secretary while he was married to a beautiful woman. Abdirisak, what on earth are you talking about? Our President does not represent Christianity and is not "second in judge to the pope," whatever that means. US law says clearly that the government is kept separate from religion. US law also says clearly that the government may not infringe upon anyone's free exercise of religion. You American are worse than the Arabs when it comes to human rights and how you deal with the blacks even your first black president which the entire population of your country believe he is Muslim because they can not stand a black man who can lead a white nation. Worse than arabs when it comes to human rights? That's a laugh. The Arab League is filled with dictatorships that allow no freedoms of speech, assembly or religion. People routinely disappear off the streets of the Syrian Arab Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran, go into prison and are never heard from again. The religious police of Saudi Arabia won't even let girls escape a burning building in the night with their heads uncovered. Our first black president became the nominee of the Democratic Party by winning one primary election after another. Then he won the general election by getting more votes than his opponent. And you say we can't stand a black man to "rule" (which a President does not do) a "white nation" (which the USA is not). Then why did we elect him? We all voted for the guy we "can't stand"? Really? Or are you accusing President Obama of stealing the election? Some folks, though nowhere near the "entire population of your country," conclude he was born a muslim because his father was a muslim, and it's customary for a muslim to pass his faith to his children. Isn't it? If that's the case, and then he subsequently became a Christian, I wouldn't blame him for keeping his first faith a secret. After all, Ibn Abbaas said : The Messenger of Allah said, "Whoever changes his (Islamic) religion, kill him." (Al-Bukhary number 6922) America is the biggest donor of food and other supplies to Africa, but still we side with china because however you act cute and kind to us now there is no way we will make you feel a close friend even with your corrupted Christianity that you twisted and altered thousand years to suit your way of life not of its original way and I don't mean that we are racists towards you, but it is simply once beaten twice shy. So you're a scholar on Christianity? That's great. Well, even with our corrupted Christianity, thousands of Africans emigrate to the USA every year. How many Africans choose to emigrate to the superior culture of Islamic countries? Did you emigrate from Africa? Why did you choose Australia, don't they have that corrupted Christianity there, too? Some reason you took a pass on emigrating to Iran or Saudi Arabia? And good luck with China, just don't leave any flowers at Tiananmen Square next time you visit; you might never be heard from again. Islam is not threat to you and Mohamed is not leading a crescent war against you but it is that your politician are giving you false alarms and scare mongering you to get their votes and making old poor died Mohamed as if he is alive and is going to steal your kids… Actually, Abdirisak, most of our politicians, and our newspapers go out of their way to avoid ever saying anything negative about Islam or muslims (because they're scared). But they can't fool all the people all the time; the people see muslims blowing up planes, buildings, trains, people, all the time, and always in the name of Islam. We see imams who have their own militias (would catholic priests and protestant ministers have their own militias if Christianity wasn't corrupted?). So our politicians lecture us about the religion of peace but we keep seeing something very different. And it is becoming more difficult for muslim "holy men" to say one thing in English to us and then another thing in Arabic when they return home. Their virulent hatred is being translated, and our politicians can't stop it. Islam is the future of this world and like it or not that is not cause the cause is how we can get an educated and civilized Muslim societies that are compatible with the modern world. Why aren't the superior muslim societies educated and civilized right now? Why is illiteracy, xenophobia and gender apartheid hallmarks of Islamic societies? Why do muslims in Africa and Pakistan routinely refuse their children access to free polio vaccinations, on orders from their imams? Why does India have a fast growing economy and burgeoning middle class, and Pakistan has neither?
