For the readers: the Qur'an as a text has its share of mistakes yes mistakes in Arabic language grammar (and the most celebrated mistake because so much has been written about it is in hadhan lasahiran which should be in hadhayne lasahiran) and in spelling of perfect Arabic words and for sure many problems with syntax (as in the case of Surat al-Kawthar or Q108 and it really has no meaning) and the Qur'an (read this word as lectionary) has its share of foreign words as would be expected in a text that is the product of the late antique period so the Qur'an has its share of Hebrew, Greek, Ethiopian, Latin but the major source of foreign words in the Qur'an is Syriac and very much Syriac syntax as I suspect in the case of Q12:2 where it says QRNA 3RBYA or Qur'anaa 3arabiyaa or Arabic Qur'an and it is indeed odd that the word Qur'an has an alif unless this is indeed a reading and arabizing Syriac qeryana and this could very well be read as Syriac Qryana 3rbya or lectionary of sunset (read this as Friday) notice that the word sunset in Arabic is al-ghurub and the word Friday in Arabic is really yum al-3uruba.
