There will always be something new to discover under the sunReader comment on item: Obama's Pretend Counterterrorism Policy Submitted by slayhy (United Arab Emirates), Oct 28, 2011 at 14:29 It is good that you acknowledge that people who wrote the Books. The Quran was and is still scrutinized, the only thing came out of scrutiny is more Wonders. It is well know fact that in early history not all people are learnt scholars. A tiny percent of the people on earth were able to read or write and those few are the elite of their society. They wrote the books and manipulated in the minds of the people. it is normal with the human thinking that these elite people felt the power in their hands and as such they were afraid that such power would be gone if they present the words of God as they are, so they manipulated with the words to suit their desires and make the people obey them. The Elite people of the Jews did the same thing to the Torah; the Church people in Rome did the same thing to the Bible after Jesus whether in Rome or in Byzantine and in the Middle Ages in Europe when ignorance was prevailing all over Europe except Andalusia. In other words, I am not sure if we can separate what are God's words in the holy books and what are Human words in these books. There are 77 chapters- books (lesser number in other bibles) in the Bible can you tell me which books are from God and which books are not from God. The Quran has 114 chapters. They are the same all over the world, there are no variations. And all words are God's words; there are no human words in there. So this book is truly sacred book. No exception. We take every word seriously because we know that God is speaking. And the power of the words and phrases are evident In the Bible you don't know which part God is speaking or which part the man is speaking Which is more sacred and taken seriously a book known that all words are God's words or a Book that is so and so? And as for your explanation, I have my answers to you, following the logic that God gave us through His words in the Quran 1. What about Lot and his daughters? The WORD tells of a believing man caught up in compromise by living in a place of sin and not separating himself in time. The wickedness of his daughters who were miserable for having to leave their place of luxury came back to distress him. If God knows that LOT daughters are evil and wicked, their destiny would be of their mother's, as for us in the Quran, LOT and his immediate family except his wife were pious and good people and that is why God saved them. They were without any doubt not wicked or evil and they would not do such evil thing. 2. Jacob and Esau-easy to solve when considering Esau did not have a love for the things of God and Jacob did. Our mind is set with the logic that God gave us, therefore I say - by what authority a man can assign a prophet or messenger of God without God's permission. We believe what God tells us in the Quran; only God would choose a prophet that he find him suitable to be God's prophet on Earth. So it is not a gamble or ceding one authority to another for a cup of soup and not God who authorized the assignment. 3. Jacob and the men Shechem-self explanatory: based upon the Old Testament context of the story, would you not pursue the honor of your sister? This is wickedness and against God's commands, it gives bad example to mankind how to treat people when you give them safe haven. If you grant someone peace, you should stick to it. The people came to Jacob humbled for what their son did, and came to rectify the situation. And Jacob gave them his word. In the bible it is the wickedness of Jacob's sons to do what they did, there are stories on Jacob in the Quran but not this story. So there is a doubt of being true. it show a wicked prophet (God forbid). In the Quran it show a pious prophet who would not such evil 4. Abraham and his son Isaac, the only son Almighty God would recognize from the relationship of Sarah-self explanatory. in the Bible there is always mention of Ishmael as Abraham son except when it came to the sacrifice it said " Take thy only son" this is shocking, why on earth there is a reference in the bible for Ishmael as Abraham son except in the sacrifice. READ the bible see for your self - G16:11 - G17:23 - G17:25 - G17:26 - G21:11 - G16:15 - G16:16 - G25:09 - against G-22:02 Any one reads these verses against G22:02 would be shocked if these are the words of God at all - in the Quran and Prophet Muhammad we are told that both Isaac and Ishmael were good Brothers and that Sarah and Hagar were in good terms no animosity between them. They were both pious and believers in God. They obeyed God. They were all Muslims as their father Abraham. – 5. The children of Israel killing for two reasons: for cleansing the land of immorality of the Canaanites and others; and in disobedience, killing outside the moral limitations. In the Quran we are told by God not to kill but those who try to kill you and fight you, but also God said in the Quran do not Aggress. if they opted to peace then we should opt to peace too. We should not wipe out all villages and kill all men and all women who knew men and keep chaste virgin women for you. This is never in the Quran. What is written in the bible is unethical. 6. Children of Israel taking women for pleasure – non-specific – yet being men, sin was their constant companion, thus the need, like all men who lust, the need for their Savior. Once again, these are not God's words, this act is unethical. God always guides people to ethical behaviors 7. Almighty God says He rested – I'll take Him at His WORD over anyone else's. God All-Mighty never said He needed rest. God All-Mighty does not need to rest. The phrases in the Bible are not God's words. God did not say he rested on the seventh day. This is not right. This is not the logic of God. - What is written in the bible is the logic of man NOT GOD. God Al-Mighty does not get tired so he needs to rest. God says in the Quran "Indeed your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and earth in six days, then He rose over the Throne, He brings the night as a cover over the day, seeking it rapidly, and the sun and the moon and the stars are all subjected to His command. Surely His is the Creation and Commandment. Blessed is Allah, the Lord of the worlds (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!" 8. Sarah erred; Hagar paid for it. Both still need to obey the WORD of the LORD. In the Quran no one erred. It was God's command to Abraham to take his son Ishmael while a baby to Mecca and that is why his mother was afraid that he might die of thirst because there was no water and he was a helpless child. Unlike the story in the bible that Sarah ordered Abraham to banish Hagar and her son and when Ishmael was 16 or 17 years of age - a grown man who should help his mother find water. The bible says Hagar was worried that her son might die of thirst. There is No logic in the bible. Not in God's logic or to that matter in human logic. 9. Pre-pubescent, pubescent, or adult; that was not the issue presented: that Isaac was the son to be presented before the LORD is the point. This is the interpretation of human logic. Still not correct. The word Isaac after your only son was intentionally inserted to change the meaning of the text of God and to stress on Isaac rather than Ishmael. Although it is clear that Ishmael was the only son of Abraham before Isaac was born. 10. He, Yeshua HaMashiach, IS GOD. If one does not get that one right, then all else fails. Read Isaiah 9:6. Unfortunately the Christians have gone back to pagan times, associating partners with God Al-Mighty. They have a human thinking that because a person made miracles then he is god. In Quran we find many names of God. It is God who called Himself - there are 99 names but none of them is Yasu' Al maseeh (Jesus the Anointed) But of course we know that story- how the trinity evolved after Jesus Al-maseeh. 11. In order to fulfill His promise to provide a Savior that is unblemished to accomplish a perfect mission to mankind, it is a perfect means to demonstrate that He, the LORD can do anything, even a virgin birth. Not very logical in the human realm of things isn't it. We believe in the virgin birth, but we don't believe that St. Mary gave birth to her Lord. This is beyond anyone thinking and it is denied by the LORD Allah Himself. God says he does not need a son to prove that he is there, God also says "Surely, in disbelief (blasphemy) are they who say that Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. Say (O, Muhammad): "Who then has power against Allah, if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary and his mother, and all those who are on Earth together?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and earth, and all that is between them. He creates what He Wills. And Allah is Able to do all things." The only savior is to believe in the One God and worship Him (not to associate others with him including Jesus Al Maseeh), to believe in His Angels, to believe in His Books and to believe in His messengers and to follow God's commands. Full stop
