The suspicion of numbers is overReader comment on item: Obama's Pretend Counterterrorism Policy Submitted by slayhy (United Arab Emirates), Oct 29, 2011 at 12:20 "Say O Muhammad: "O People of the Book (Jews and Christians): Come to a word (in good terms) that is Just between us and you, that we worship none but Allah (God) (alone), and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah(God). Then, if they turn away, say "(o People of the Book) bear witness that we are Muslims." verse 3:64 Let us agree that there is no God but one and we worship Him alone and we do not associate any partner with Him not even Jesus (Al-Maseeh). If you do that then there is no difference between us. Unfortunately the Christians have gone back to pagan times, associating partners with God Al-Mighty. They have a human thinking that because a person made miracles then he is god. during pagan times and during the people of Abraham in Ur, Abraham was looking for the truth, so when he saw the moon shining, he said this is my god, when it disappeared and saw the sun he said this is my god, it is bigger and have more power, but when it disappeared, he turned his face to the sky and said, there is no God but One, and He will guide me. Any one reads and understands the Quran, his thinking is elevated to a higher level of thinking; Thinking the way God want us to think. Unfortunately during this era and because of colonization, the Muslims are the most ignorant and most poor people on Earth. But their status was much better during Muhammad and after Muhammad times, richness and knowledge were wide spread in the Muslim world, when Europe sank in darkness and ignorance. - The Ottoman Empire during its last few years before it died played part in our downfall. Weakened by worldly pleasures made other countries such as France and Italy with no exception, the British Empire to complete the downfall and occupy Muslim countries. Otherwise our status would be different. But it is God wish. Coming back to the original question how do we know which words are of God in the Scripture of the Jews and Christians? I have not received any answer. We know the books are mixture of many different type of words, but how do we separate GOD words from others. Even Jesus words, have question mark on them - are they really his words? Now the Quran is a different story, the whole Quran is GOD's Words; there are no human words in there. Let's set our mind and vision in early days in Arabia just before the Advent of Muhammad. Let us vision the daily life of Bedouins living in the middle of a desert. no modern communication such as wireless, telephones, internet, TV, computers, no modern transportation, no buses, cars, planes, no modern equipment to cultivate the land and make their land fertile, not desert and to make them rich, no oil, no electricity, no water pipes, no sewage system and no hospitals. A very simple and uncomplicated life, yet hard living, their daily concerns about disease, sickness, food, earnings, traveling that is all hard to do. The illiterate are more than the educated, even the elite people were mostly illiterate. The distance between Makkah and Madina is measured in days or weeks, traveling farther north or south would take a month or so. IT IS NOT EASY. People lived in isolated communities separated from other communities because of distances and because of no modern communication or transportation systems existed at that time - unlike today. The pace of time was very slow. People's concern about their daily life prevented them from thinking about anything else. Muhammad is no exception, as a young man he had to raise cattle for his uncle and later trade for his wife. He did not learn how to read or write. People of Makkah during festive seasons take part in chanting poems and make challenges who is better in grammatical and linguistic supremacy and who is a better speaker. Muhammad never took part of these festivities being unable to read or write, yet at one point when he was 40 years of age he brought Arabic phrases that made his tribe open their mouth with wonder and called him a sorcerer, they could not match what he brought forth. It was powerful Arabic Yet during the 23 years the he brought forth Quranic verses, many, I am sure, did not know at that time what was meant of the verses about science, embryology, universe, earth, nature, atmosphere….etc, because this knowledge was not discovered yet Would you believe a Bedouin living in the desert can come up with such information? And above all he is illiterate? I will not list all the discoveries in the Quran that are mentioned above; however I will list some of the number system marvels in the Quran 1. The beginning of every chapter in the Quran starts with "In The Name of God The Most Compassionate The Most Merciful" The number count of the letters in Arabic are counted 19, 2. This sentence is repeated 114 times in the whole of the Quran – 19 x 6 – a multiplication of number 19 3. There are initial letters in the first verse of some chapters in the Quran – (these are counted 29 chapters) that start with these initial letters. (they are called Chapter Initials), these certain letters in every chapter if counted and summed up in the same chapter, their sum will be a multiplication of the number 19 - I have produced a very long excel table using the computer to count words and letters in the Quran that shows these Chapter Initials letters and their count and how they are multiplications of the number 19. 4. Prophet Muhammad was called by the name "Prophet" 19 times after chapter Mary (chapter 19) in the Quran 5. The number of verses in the Quran that these Chapter Initial letters make a complete verse (not part of a verse) are counted 19 6. The first chapter revealed to Muhammad is the 19th chapter from the end of the book (counted in reverse order) 7. In Chapter 50 the Chapter Initial letter is Q - the number of Q letters in that chapter would not be multiplication of the number 19 if God did not change in one verse saying "brothers of Lot" instead of "people of Lot" this made it possible for the count of Q's to be the multiplication of the number 19. In the whole chapter God always said "people of Lot" except in one verse He said "brothers of Lot" People of Lot starts with a Q in Arabic 8. God said in the Quran "The likeness of Jesus before Allah (God) is the likeness of Adam. He (God) created him from soil (Dust)l, then (He) Said to him "BE" and there he was" (verse 3:59) - The number of times Jesus is mentioned in the Quran is exactly the same number of times Adam is mentioned in the Quran (25 times) 9. God said in the Quran in chapter 2 – So We have made you (Muslims) a median (Just, equipoise) nation…..) - This verse is number 143 of chapter 2 - Chapter (2) has 286 verses in it. – So this verse is in the middle of chapter 2 You may call this is a coincident; I say a coincident can happen once, twice and maybe thrice, but not many times. And spread across the whole book. A computer was needed to reach to this conclusion, and I am sure we will discover more marvels in the future using computers or other discoveries. Whole Letters Initials of many chapters have the same principle (Multiplication by 19) – but who is counting by hand of large number of words and letters? – There are over 6000 verses and hundreds of thousands letters in the Quran Submitting....
