The UN does very little good and a lot of badReader comment on item: Lessening UNRWA's Damage Submitted by Ken Besig (Israel), Jul 10, 2012 at 05:29 The UN "manages" problems, that is, it prolongs them, it exacerbates them, and blocks any rational solution to them, and not just regarding UNRWA's Palestinian "refugees.". For example, every year or two sub Saharan Africa enters into or simply continues to suffer lethal famines due to UN support for the dysfunctional regimes which rob and pillage their suffering peoples, wars throughout the world now endure for decades with massive casualties due to UN "peacekeepers" preventing any one side from winning, and due to UN support, rogue regimes like Iran and North Korea continue to threaten global stability. Due to the UN, now the good guys always lose and the bad guys almost always win! Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
