UNRWA *IS* the problemReader comment on item: Lessening UNRWA's Damage Submitted by Jake in Jerusalem (Israel), Jul 12, 2012 at 05:37 It is curious that the UN gives nothing at all to the tens of thousands of African refugees in Israel, who are supported by Israel, but the UN gives BILLIONS OF DOLLARS to several million so-called "Palestinians" who are not and haven't been genuine refugees in several generations. The UN, as usual, is a tool of Islamic imperialism. One agency, UNRWA, funds and supports the so-called "Palis" while another agency, the UNHCR, handles all other refugees on the planet. Is that a fair distribution of resources? The Palis have a higher standard of living than people in many countries but they are still on international welfare - and according to UNRWA rules, will be on welfare forever. Is that targeting real need? Is that solving real problems? Plainly, UNRWA *IS* the problem. It is precisely the unheard-of generosity of UNRWA (which really means YOUR money) that allows the Palis to spend their entire lives in destructive terrorism instead of productive activity, like the rest of the world. UNRWA *IS* the problem. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
