Personal Choices Continued- Choosing the Love of Jesus Christ over the Control of the CaliphateReader comment on item: Kenneth N. Waltz – The Stupidest Strategist? Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Jul 25, 2012 at 18:02 And now you have come to grips with a very important point, which I will phrase in the question: are Judeo-Christian values to blame for the causes of actions like entering Iraq under 'questionable pretenses,' or the home grown atrocity of an unstable mind perpetrating the grossest of human indignities, murder of the innocents? Or, shall we frame it in the more correct observation that the Judeo-Christian influences that once WERE the defining value system prevalent in America are now in the shadows as America comes to grips on its own for chasing a godless secular system not unlike that of Syria as it falls into its own moral-less chasm of inhumanities to their own people. These crises, of the west, or of the Islamic places of intolerance against things Christian all have their roots in the same mentality: these are crimes of unbelief in the acts of love of Jesus Christ and His love for those to whom He is supreme. You are totally misinformed, nay, totally brainwashed into thinking that any criminal act is based in Judeo-Christian behavior; for it is written, 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Almighty God.' It is the basis of the need for a Savior, the Savior Jesus Christ, the Son of David, Son of Almighty God. You do yourself the disservice in trying to lay blame on Jesus Christ for any criminal activity: it is a lie of the Adversary to make that assertion. There are NO facts to support your claim that the founding values of the United States of America are proximal to the cause of failing social justice; for social justice is a makeshift human value system of secularists that does not seek the true justice of what the Scripture calls for in the human to human relationship. First and foremost, if the individual is not focused upon seeking truth as the basis for relationships of one to another, then the government is powerless to impute social justice by human mandate: why? Because it is written, 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Almighty God.' You cannot bring social justice by Islam either, for exactly the same reason; it is written, 'all have sinned and fall short of the glory of Almighty God.' Human nature resists justice for the sake of the self and unless the self is surrendered to the truth that human nature needs a Savior to reconcile mankind to Almighty God, it is not innate to human nature for the individual to achieve any connection to His holiness. Only faith and belief in Jesus Christ accomplishes that. Fail to understand that and you have the Aurora, Colorado massacre; the massacres in Syria; the chemical massacre in Bhopal, etc., etc., etc. Failure to understand that in history then you will make the mistake of thinking that Christianity converted the Roman Empire-for the reverse actually happened, the Roman Empire absorbed faithless religionists into a fake form of Christianity and used it to extend the 'holy' Roman Empire for reasons that the Holy Bible states were for impure desires of world conquest. It is the center of the controversy that led to the crusades and forms the basis of the crisis issues in the world today. Islam cannot solve it either and to think so extends such a misunderstanding that results in the impoverished conditions of human misery. Now, in continuing to extol Islam as a means to bring a faithless world under total control, you will not be disappointed to learn that in this opinion, it is going to happen. I'll not be here when it does; you should be careful to examine why that is and how you might not want to be a part of it either. The West does not need a new moral argument; for it has not understood that the moral argument they need to make is not based upon social justice in the secular realm, neither to seek democracy on humanist terms for places like Libya, Tunisia, Egypt or Syria, or anywhere else in the world either. To pursue that in these times is only going to precipitate into the next world war, which for Muslims should prove to be temporarily interesting, but eventually will be the cause of the disintegration of the world society. But, like I said, that will be your problem, not mine. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
