Confirmation and Validation of the WORD of the LORD

Reader comment on item: Kenneth N. Waltz – The Stupidest Strategist?
in response to reader comment: confirmatiom

Apparently, you took away from what was written by me only that which you wanted to see. While I do believe that the return of Jesus Christ is an event yet to happen, since I am not a date setter nor do I believe any true disciple should be, the inevitability of its occurrence does not stop the first prime directive or the second given by Jesus Christ Himself; that of loving Almighty God and loving fellow humanity. He demonstrated His love for humanity and I can do no less.

But let us be very clear; self protection and protection of my faith come under two different prerogatives.

Self protection is permitted so far as it is defined Biblically. Protection of the faith comes under the prerogative of the Holy Spirit and our response to His direction under His will.

The Scriptures are very plain: in the determination of His will, WE ARE SUPPOSED TO WAIT –see Psalm 27 and the other corroborating scriptures. The disciples were required to wait for the Holy Spirit prior to the Pentecostal appearance; are we greater than them?

The hawk/dove symbolism is humanly derived from a reading of Noah's retrieval of the olive leaf, which in and of itself does not necessarily fit a scriptural mandate of how disciples are to interact with the world. That being said; look at the world after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and compare the actions of believers before and after – what is the major distinction? We'll come back to that.

I presume you are familiar with the original 'handwriting on the wall;' "mene, mene, tekel, upharsin." It was true then and it has remained true until this day. Much of the world, on the other hand, is either ignoring or operating in complete indifference to its implications of a dual pronouncement of what is to follow. So you may or may not desire to seek its current application, but for a disciple of Jesus Christ, posturing like the prophet Daniel is the only recourse that seems appropriate. Daniel was not a warrior in the physical sense; his battles were spiritual.

Babylon was his battleground; as Babylon is a battleground today, both in the reality of the former Persian Empire desiring to rule the modern world and spiritually as it is recorded in the Revelation. In either theater, the circumstances are as compelling now as they were centuries ago.

There is a connection between the crusades of then and the crusades now, though you will not get too many 'amens' on that in the so-called 'mainstream Christian' community: and why is that? In Biblical parlance, it is the apostasy called for by Jesus Christ Himself and in other references. It speaks directly of these times.

The reason for the first 'Arab uprising' in ancient times of the crusades was that the so-called Christianity of that time was so mired in its failure to be true witnesses to the Gospel that Islam was inserted into the scenario to call out the unfaithfulness. Were the witness of the Christians at that time true, Islam would still be a sub-regional religion having no more that a local influence. Without a reliance upon the Holy Spirit to deliver those who were faithful, those who were faithful were killed for their faith while others renounced their belief and converted to Islam, just as many do today, even in America!

Now as for the current American Administrative Chief Executive, you have obviously not read anything I have written concerning Candidate Obama and any of his religious proclivities; but we'll not belabor that here. Let it be sufficient to say that his claim to Christianity has only the authentication of his 'former pastor' and that of his less than compelling witness during his visit to the church of Rick Warren with John McCain. Further, I do not support his candidacy, for he has demonstrated a different agenda that all too many still do not see.

But now comes your latest attempt to throw the Adversary's tactics in my way, as have so many others tried, not realizing that of my faith, it does not operate under my own strength, but by the power of His WORD and His guarantee of my salvation through Jesus Christ my LORD. So, you have lost the bet already.

The reality of the world is that it is in the very depths of deception, a situation compounded by the observation by others that wish Candidate Obama would be able to extend his power for four more years and complete what is obviously the overthrow of the American republic and dissolution of the United States Constitution, just as they are doing in Egypt to promote shari'a law.

Who of us still think that cannot happen here? And if the truth be known, only a true Christian revival has the promise of power that could stop it. Is that what the 'mainstream Christian' community prays for; or do they seek merely a republican in office to continue the muddling through the morass that both republicans and democrats have caused?

I have no intention to step aside in standing for what Jesus Christ calls for; a true witness to a nation that has forsaken her LORD as prescribed in the United States Constitution and declaring support for those who in true honor of their oath stand to protect and defend that United States that recalls the honor for the Divine Provenance of this nation's founding.

But that nation which once honored such is now foundering, who now denounces her LORD by declaring separation of church and state and allows that dishonor to undermine her legacy with humanism and death for unborn children, dishonoring that which is good about America and replacing it with secularist humanist logic that has no foundation to stand upon; and like the shores of New York, washes away because the foundation is no longer secure.

You remark, 'The time for peace is over…;' yet leaving out the observation of when has peace ever been fully enjoyed by the world. In actuality, the 'periods of peace' were more like the periods of 'hudna' for the Middle East, temporary cessations of hostility to negotiate for posturing for the next round of fighting.

You are correct; fighting by the fundamentalists is all they bring to identify their ideology: peace is antithetical to their way of thinking and yet the world never gets to truly know any real peace because it cannot be humanly obtained.

Earlier, we read of this: look at the world after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and compare the actions of believers before and after – what is the major distinction? So, now, we'll come back to that. Where has peace ever been truly achieved? For a brief period of time, it was written Israel was given a certain measure of peace during the reign of Solomon. We are told why: King Solomon honored the LORD and was granted peace and riches beyond valuation for His obedience to the WORD of the LORD.

The people of Israel broke ranks after that and have been in and out of the will of Almighty God ever since. But there is a distinction to be made here. We wrote earlier that the United States was given a certain measure of blessings while America maintained a certain status of being a 'Christian' nation. The difference between the two is that Israel has a Biblical promise for its eternal security; America does not.

In the Biblical scheme of things, America was given a season of blessing as long as it maintained its relationship with Almighty God, a relationship now in severe compromise and with limited possibilities of regaining that certain measure of blessing if things do not dramatically change. And Islam, just like it did to Christianity in the Middle Ages, became America's source of persecution, just as the Bible shows over and over to those nations that forsake their reliance upon the LORD.

And as for the inference of Who to follow in these treacherous times, there is only one to follow: Jesus Christ the LORD. For whether it is for battle or for searching out peace in the love of Almighty God through the redemption of Jesus Christ, it is His WORD that is coming to reap that which was sown; either for the eternity He promised to those who believed in faith for His faithfulness (His peace); or for the judgment (action) coming for the rebellion of not believing: those are actually the only choices to be made in this time of the coming Revelation.
