Where lying and ignorance are involved ...2 or "ΕΡΓΑ ΟΘΩΜΑΝΩΝ" (="Made In Turkey")Reader comment on item: Rampaging Islamists Submitted by Ianus (Poland), Oct 1, 2012 at 10:24 Mozere wrote : > We were treated with the utmost courtesy by the Greek people, not one person was rude to us ,they eagerly helped us when we asked for directions etc,we went to a shop run by a Turkish woman who married a Greek. We did not feel we were in a foreign country as the land, the food, the people, the buildings looked so familiar.< Your multicultural fairy tale is really hypnotizing. How sad that reality exists ! And what might reality say to that if anybody cared to listen to it ? In 2009 on Turkish demands the replica of Eugène Delacroix's "The massacre of Chios" (the original painting "Scène des massacres de Scio"" is in the Louvre Museum) was simply removed from the Byzantine Museum of Chios ... to appease angry Turks and the powers behind them! Two years before that another act of Turkish bullying in Chios took place, totally unreported in the major media. The Turkish consul for the Dodecanese demanded that the holy relics of those Greeks massacred by the Turkish beasts in the Monastery of St. Minas in 1822 (" about a thousand of the peasantry, openly separating from the insurgents, retired to the monastery of St. Minas. The fourth day the preparations of tile Capitan Pashaw being completed, he ordered the Greeks who were in the monastery to be brought out, and butchered one by one" S.G. Howe)be removed from the holy place as too offensive to 'Turkish sensibilities' nor too conducive to the "Greek-Turkish friendship"! Earlier the Turks made sure that the inscription upon the box that contained these mutilated human remains which read "ΕΡΓΑ ΟΘΩΜΑΝΩΝ" (freely, "Made In Turkey") had to disappear to 'help promote' the said newly rediscovered "spirit" of "the Greek-Turkish friendship". Interesting, isn't it , for every Turkish traveller in Chios? All looks so familiar, no recollections of the"ΕΡΓΑ ΟΘΩΜΑΝΩΝ" or a Delacroix painting thanks to precautions taken by the neo-Ottomans. How fine and reassuring ! Well, I wonder when the Jews will start dismantling Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec or Treblinka to assuage angry Nazis and other holocaust-deniers and to promote the Jewish-Hitlerite reconciliation , peace and co-existence. > I am relating this to show that the people whether christian or muslim background are mostly decent have common sense and are pragmatic.< Let's not mistake ignorance and cowardice on the one hand and bullying and impudent lying on the other with "common sense" and "pragmatism"! What "common sense" or "pragmatism" is it when being confronted with a lie (" a massacre of Turkish population" that never took place and "vengeance attack" for an unknown offense except that of being "infidel dogs and rayas" in the eyes of the Ottoman master race) brings up not exposing it but pretending not to see it at all and basing one's (stupid) hope for peace and coexistence on the very same bully that is the greatest threat to peace and co-existence ! Do you know the Latin adage "Quem deus perdere vult, dementat"? It comes to my mind every time I hear a Turk praising Greeks or Armenians or Assyrians for "common sense" and "pragmatism" and the like or a Greek, Armenian ,Assyrian or any kafir believing it. >They know that perpetual fighting neighbours will make them miserable whereas traveling and trading will bring joy and money. < Turkey almost on a daily basis encroaches upon the Hellenic air space, disrespects international agreements, violates the law of the seas and threatens Greece with war if she makes use of her right to its maritime zone , makes claims on Greek waters, minerals and territories, including first and foremost the Aegean islands. It illegally occupies 38% of Cyprus where it has carried out a total ethnic cleansing just like earlier in Constantinople with ensuing cultural extermination of everything non-Islamic – churches changed into mosques or latrines, Christian and even Jewish cemeteries desecrated and vandalized, the ecumenical patriarch a virtual hostage. Turkey is the hub of drug and human trafficking and human smuggling and criminality with close connections to the highest offices in Ankara. Greece and Cyprus are badly affected by these evils that come from or via Turkey which is a mafia state as the Susurluk incident has clearly shown. But you don't call it "perpetual fighting",do you? It is only when common sense and self-defense worth the name makes the victim resist these acts of Turkish bullying and aggression and expose the Turkish lies that your whining and complaining are provoked. How pathetic! > So the lesson is to ignore the nationalistic and religious bigots who spew hatred and intolerance 24/7 and who categorise people as if they are a herd of sheep saying muslims all do this others all do that what a bs.< An alternative lesson to ignoring things would be to get educated, face the reality and expose grey wolves in sheep's clothing and their real agenda which is no truth but deception, no peace but war, no reconciliation but conquest, no freedom but slavery and genocide! >To those who say Turkish women do not marry christian men ,well they are wrong, i have seen many, not everybody obeys the rules a lot do not.< "A lot do not" ? I wish I saw real statistics instead of relying on your failing eyes that have seen so many Fata Morganas you have reported on this forum! Be as it may, I wonder what relation this may have to the notorious fact that "Turkey has become the world's champion for honor killings with a killing rate 5 times higher than that of Pakistan"? It seems that the more "multicultural" Turkey becomes, the stronger its Islamic monoculture grows.
