Islamic Lobby

Dr Pipes,

in your analysis, how do you see the relative power balance between the Israel and Islamic lobbies in the US? If you look at all the determinants of lobbying power the Israel lobby trumps the Islamic. In terms of age, popular perception, financial resources, demographic size, political representation (ie number of members of Congress), presence in academia and the media, the Israel lobby far outshadows the Islamic, doesn't it?

The possibly equalizer is perhaps petro dollars coming from the Gulf, but even then I'd imagine it would fall short.
