Does the goalpost shift for Islam?

Unless you are a Bahai or a Jain, your religion has committed egregious wrongs on non-believers in whatever lands your coreligionists happen to control.

In the US, in certain jurisdictions it is illegal, in theory if not in practice, for a Muslim to fast during Ramadan. Fasting falls under shariah law, and by outlawing shariah law, many jurisidictions have made it illegal for Muslims to fast.

In Israel, if Ethopian Jews are mistreated, then it doesn't take a huge leap to figure that the goyim may be mistreated also.

In Sri Lanka, Sinhalese Buddhists have terrorized Tamil Hindus for decades.

In India, Hindus have managed to virtually eliminate Buddhism as a religion. Islamic warlords may have erased Buddhism in Afghanistan and Pakistan, but in India, Hindus have always been a majority of the population. Hindus have target Sikhs in 1984, and Christians in Kerala in the 2000s.

In Burma, Muslim marriages are not recognized by the state or have passports so that they can legally emigrate to a country in which they can.

In Uganda, no one is safe from the Lords Resistance Army.
