Fact check pleaseReader comment on item: Islam and Islamism in the Modern World Submitted by Ali Baba (United States), Feb 7, 2013 at 19:58
There are rather unsavory elements to all faiths, including no faith. Apart from the fact that almost none of what you stated is actually a part of Islamic scripture, throwing stones from a glass house really isn't very becoming, Mr/Ms Dhimmi. Take for example that the Pentateuch contains injunctions for killing your kids if they talk back, incest by Lot, and adultery of King David. There's also injunctions to stone psychics and mediums to death, and death for adultery. Since you're such a good score-keeper, Dhimmi, why don't we compare scriptures? The God of the Bible commanded Joshua to the wholescale genocide of combatants, non-combatants, and even animals and carry off the plunder of Ai. The God of the Quran commands war against "those who fight against you" and only came after Muhammad's eviction from his home during the Hijra. The fact that you believe God to be good for ordering the deaths of all people and even animals when stated in the Bible, but God is evil for allowing self-defense only against combatants when in the Quran, exposes you as prejudicial hypocrite. Or is it really a case of your stool smelling sweeter than mine?
