Silver Lining

Great article. I believe that you are unfortunately "right on". Never in my wildest dreams would I have believed that the French (owners of the famous rifle that was dropped twice and never fired) would actually come to our rescue. That is especially true with the current government. This is humiliating at best - how far have we fallen? I guess, fortunately, after the first four years of this very bad joke, we are falling from the basement window. I do hope and sincerely believe that you are not giving this bubling fool that "we" elected(my vote is irrelevant in the great Republic of Maryland) ANY credit for this being his/Kerry's intent. Neither are smart enough or worldly enough to arrive at that decision other than from utter incompetence.
