0bama Intent Is To Weaken the US and the WestReader comment on item: The Silver Lining of Obama's Weak America Submitted by Tom Dundee (United States), Nov 24, 2013 at 16:00 I do not see 0bama's Syria as weakness. We had no business in Syria. The Russians have met their age old goal of a warm water navy base/seaport and this is in Russia's back yard. While there are some good guys that want a real shot at democracy, they are out numbered by al Qaeda who is also more organized. Nothing is to be gained by aiding al Qaeda as 0bama intended to do, yet a lot is to be lost. We had no business in Libya. We should have supported Mubarack, a very weak ally, because it was obvious the Moslem Brotherhood was biding its time. I am glad the Egyptian people had their fill of Morsi and the Army backed them; now they have a chance at a good future.
