Where is the proof that JFK looked at what FDR had in mind for Vietnam? (Take a look at the pages where FDR shows up in "The Lost Crusade: America in Vietnam" by Chester L. Cooper, to find out).

It is too easy to give too much credit to JFK, and frankly it is about time for more people to learn from this.

Plus, given the Irish Roman Catholic had other things scheduled for the 100th anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg address, this does not speak well.

How did Woodrow Wilson, who was President in 1913, observe the 50th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address?
