"Lee Harvey Oswald, a communist, murdered Kennedy to protect Fidel Castro's control of Cuba. Kennedy died for his anti-communism"
Oswald was just a big time goof who thought himself as playing with the big boys. A little [very little] man who wanted to be a very big man. In a way he did become so.
