Hitler's speech 30.01.1939 sets an example

Here Hitler lays a out a pattern of prophecy and politics which sets an example that Iranian clerics copy:

Ich will heute wieder ein Prophet sein: Wenn es dem internationalen Finanzjudentum in und außerhalb Europas gelingen sollte, die Völker noch einmal in einen Weltkrieg zu stürzen, dann wird das Ergebnis nicht die Bolschewisierung der Erde und damit der Sieg des Judentums sein, sondern die Vernichtung der jüdischen Rasse in Europa.

If the international finance-Jewry inside and outside Europe should succeed in plunging the nations into a world war yet again, then the outcome will not be (the Bolshewization of the earth and thereby the) victory of Jewry, but rather the annihilation of the Jewish race in Europe!

Hitler did not actually wait for the Jews to start a world war. Only some months later he helped his prophecies along. Invading Poland, starting WW2 himself, he lit the fuse and started the sequence of events as promised.

From a perspective of common sense the Führer sounds as illogical and ridiculous as the Great Dictator (Charlie Chaplin). Different from the Great Dictator however, Hitler commanded the Wehrmacht and that made all the difference. Even if Iran's narrative sounds like a religious fairytale at best, Iran's command over a nuclear arsenal would make the exact same difference the Wehrmacht made.
