What happens in Iraq is none of Israel's business, as long as Iraq (or its fragments) are not a direct threat to Israel. By the same token, what happens in Israel is nobody's business; because Israel has no designs upon any other country. It's pointless for anyone, anywhere, to speculate on what is "right" for Iraq or Kurdistan. The Middle East has never been governed according to what is "right". The Sykes-Picot agreement, as well as all the imperial systems (Ottoman, Mameluke, Fatimid, Ayyubid, etc.) that preceded it, have all been matters decided by the power and self-interest of the powers involved. In Israel's case, the interests of the Israelis themselves have not even been considered since the time of the Maccabbees.
