Kurdistan vs. 'Palestine'Reader comment on item: Hello, Kurdistan Submitted by PezDispenser (Israel), Sep 10, 2014 at 14:57 Iraqi Kurds received little acknowledgement of their existence, a paltry of media support, no rivers of money from the EU and Congress, but still managed to create a pearl in the quasi-hellhole called Iraq. Palestinians, on the other hand, got almost everything on a silver platter, including multiple statehood offers from Israel since 1947, a heavily biased media and ivory tower establishment on their side, billions of dollars (albeit syphoned off into Swiss bank accounts), public support for decades from their "Arab brothers" and they still can't get their act together. There is a lesson here, but I doubt it will be learned anytime soon. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
