I have been a fan of your musings for the longest time, most likely because they reflect my opinions.

With this article you have earned a whole new level my deepest respect, not because I agree with the analysis, which I do, but because of the humility and honesty reflected in the opening paragraph. Oh that other pundits had the decency to admit they were wrong.

I remember your opposition to a Kurdish state and back then I thought you must know something that I didnt because I was rooting for them :) Lets hope and pray that they indeed become the stabilising power in the area, God knows the region needs some stability.
