An interregnum

I see al-SIsi being an interim measure, because for much of Egypt's history, there was a head, whether the title was Pharaoh, Empress or King.

For the short term, he is an ally to be taken seriously, but when it comes to the medium and long terms, his effectiveness in standing up to those who demonize him is reduced.
