Sisi is OK in my bookReader comment on item: What Egypt's President Sisi Really Thinks Submitted by sara (United States), Sep 17, 2014 at 19:39 I do not need to overly examine motivations or past issues with Sisi to reach the conclusion that: if he is cooperating with Israel in terms of security, minimizing the border threat with elimination of jihadist and Muslim Brotherhood groups, and providing a decent neighbor the likes of which Israel has never experienced, it's a winning situation. Such cooperation and common goals were not as evident under Mubarak, despite his clamping down on Islamists within Egypt. Of course one could point out the brutality of the crackdown, prison/death sentences etc. But given the brutality of Arab regimes, it's not a new phenomenon. At least this time there is a common enemy and it has shaken up the entire dynamics of the region, with far reaching ramifications to come.
