EgyptReader comment on item: What Egypt's President Sisi Really Thinks Submitted by Emanuel (New Zealand), Sep 16, 2014 at 20:25 I have to chuckle when the word 'democracy' confronts me. It seems to most people who have been thoroughly indoctrinated from birth, that democracy saves them from tyranny and having to think about it too clearly. Like demented parrots, they keep repeating the word as if it signifies fairness and justice. Perhaps the word 'democracy' is just too close to the word 'demoncracy' for comfort? Nowadays it can mean anything in the Western world and it could end up meaning anything in the Moslim world as well. Since when do we have true democracy when fiat money rules almost everything we do? The poor who become more disenfranchised every day have little say as to the outcome of any so called democratic process. It is nothing but a well orchestrated scam. Most people don't get it, but that is why the fraud of democracy works and will fail as well as it is intended to do. I rest my case.
