el-Sisi saved Egypt at least for nowReader comment on item: What Egypt's President Sisi Really Thinks Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Sep 20, 2014 at 12:49 Dr. Pipes I would be very interesting to read what other Egyptian graduates from the same school wrote in their term papers. I suspect that they wrote just about the same old formula as el-Sisi did; A bit of liberalism and Islamism and Caliphate and democracy and free press yada yada yada. After all in Egyptian Arabic there is a wonderful word and it is يسمع or Yesamma' and it really means that he is regurgitating what he expects that others would want him to say and it is not what he really believes The reality is el-Sisi saved Egypt from the MB and I would not have been surprised if we would have had an ISIS like disaster in Egypt if the MB would have stayed in power So who is the real el-Sisi? I do believe that he might be a pious Muslim but he is very much an Egyptian nationalist Dr Pipes are you aware that John Kerry in his last visit to Egypt brought with him the most hated American in Egypt and that is Anne Patterson aka Hayzaboon (the old hag) http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/13/world/meast/kerry-mideast-visit-isis/ And check this link Oh the second most hated American? It is Obama as Egyptians believe that he supports terrorists the likes of the MB And it makes you wonder did Anne Patterson get to visit Morsi or Khayrat el-Shater her MB pals in jail Kerry is clueless Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
