Assessing Sisi?

Yes, maybe this isn't the right forum for a full discussion. I was interviewed many times, including on various Egyptian and Arab programs about Sisi after July '13 and after the election. The most careful background article, I thought was done by Reuters' Phil Stewart.

Ten years is a long time. al-Sisi's natural reticence and caution was probably helpful to him when at AWC and in his subsequent postings. I was just asked by WSJ for an assessment; again, I suppose it is too soon. Am going to put my full response in a TwitLonger because WSJ will probably use a sentence or 2.
