Following just one language - English will be a start to road of recovery!Reader comment on item: 50 Years of Dangerous Immigration Legislation Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Oct 7, 2015 at 16:03 USA is doomed since the PC culture here has made sure that the current USA does not become a melting pot. After all everyl culiture is equal to the other and nobody can be forced to follow culture of the host country. If this axiom was followed in the early days of USA, it would not have become a great country that USA is today. Nobody is asking the immigrants to forget their own culture but once you come to a country to live there follow their customs, language and work ethic. For example, for the last 15 to 20 years the business and the government here have started this two language policy - one cannot get a straight answer on phone from any company unless one goes through the endless loop of - "if you want English, press one and so on". When and why this happened? How and why would the new immigrants want to learn English, they can get by without ever learning it. Language is the first link which is used to communicate with all people then why the host country has to cater to the immigrants?? But the lefty liberal PC culture mind cannot and will not understand this in the name of catering to their own fake moral obligation!!
