Right verses inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, to lead us into lifeReader comment on item: Dennis Kucinich, Lefty for Radical Islam Submitted by Lactantius Jr. (United Kingdom), Jan 10, 2016 at 12:40 To Jalees Khokkar I greet you in the precious life-giving, life-saving Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of peace, the author and distributor of peace, the sinner's all-sufficient Saviour, and I pray that you may come to experience His peace,"that peace which the world cannot give" John 14:27 The Holy Spirit is the co-equal and co-eternal Spirit of God the Father and God the Son. He is the One who inspired the Scriptures of Old and New Testaments of the Bible and Who brings new life to the people of God. He is known by many names and titles, most of which denote some function or aspect of His ministry, for example, the advocate, the counsellor, the comforter, all these words being translations of the Greek parakletos, from which we get "Paraclete," another name for Him. The Holy Spirit, comforts, consoles and guides those who belong to Christ, bearing witness with their spirit that they belong to Christ, thereby assuring them of their salvation. The full truth was indeed with Jesus' original disciples, the Lord Jesus Christ referring to Himself as the way, the truth, the life John 14:6. The definite article, not one truth among many, the truth, He was and is in fact the embodiment of truth The message brought by Muhammad the prophet of Islam, was not in line with the message brought by the Biblical prophets, being most unlike it, and concerning his own lack of assurance of salvation, Muhammad said he didn't know what Allah would do with him, Muhammad Had No assurance of Salvation http://www.answeringmuslims.com/2014/03/muhammad-had-no-assurance-of-salvation.html Compare and contrast this with the assurance that followers of the Lord Jesus Christ have, concerning their certainty of salvation, hear these words spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ and recorded at John 11:25-26 "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." Thank you Jalees for saying my posting had helped you to further your research, and I pray that the Holy Spirit will indeed do a work in your life, because "when He comes, He will convince the world of sin and of righteousness and judgement," John 16:8 because "It is appointed for men to die once , and after that comes judgement." Hebrews 9:27 As a Muslim I assume your ultimate religious authority is the Qur'an, and whoever takes the Qur'an seriously should also take the Bible seriously, and I now quote what the Qur'an says about the Taurat (Old Testament Scriptures of the Bible) and the Injil (the New Testament Scriptures of the Bible) the Qur'anic interpretation I quote from, is said to be the most popular and most widely disseminated Qur'an in the majority of Islamic bookstores and Sunni mosques throughout the English-speaking world. It comes with a seal of approval from both the University of Medina and the Saudi Dar al-Ifta (an educational institute founded in 1895 to represent Islam). I begin with some words from Surah Al-Ma'idah, Qur'an 5 using The "Interpretation of the meanings of the Noble Qur'an in the English Language." By Dr. Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Dr Muhammad Muhsin Khan. Bracketed terms do not appear in the original Qur'anic Arabic 43. But how do they come to you for decision while they have the Taurat (Torah), in which is the (plain) Decision of Allah; yet even after that, they turn away. For they are not (really) believers. I now quote just four verses from the Injil (the gospel ["gospel" literally meaning good, good news or news which brings joy]) but very obviously the message of Jesus completely contradicts the message of Islam, which is a huge problem for Islam, because Islam affirms the message of Jesus. As a Muslim you may think you can escape this problem by saying the Gospel has been corrupted, but unfortunately for the allegation of corruption, this escape route has been blocked by the Qur'an itself, with the Qur'an affirming the inspiration, the preservation and authority of the Christian Scriptures. "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed and be raised up on the third day." Luke 9:22 "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." Mark 10:45 "For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I myself will raise him up on the last day." John 6:40 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the Name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19 You're going to live forever Jalees, please choose your address, with kind regards and all good wishes Jesus Christ is Lord Lactantius Jr. "Working together with Him, then, we entreat you not to accept the grace of God in vain, for He says, 'at the acceptable time I have listened to you, and helped you on the day of salvation.' Behold, now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation." Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
